My childhood favorite sweet, tangy and refreshing summer quencher.
Ingredients
  • 1 gallon chilled water
  • 2 cups fresh lemon juice
  • 1 cup organic honey or 1 cup white, granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper powder
  • 1 lemon, sliced, for garnish
  • Mint springs, for garnish
  • Salt to taste
Method
  1. In a pitcher, combine water and honey. Or you can bring 1 cup of water to boil and add honey or sugar (whichever is your preference - NOT both though).
  2. Add lemon juice, salt, black pepper and coriander powder. Keep tasting it to adjust the amount of tang or sweetness you want.
  3. Strain the lemonade. (This is an important step)
  4. Pour into glasses or cute mason jars and garnish with a slice of lime or lemon and mint springs.
  5. Add ice just before serving only so it won't dilute the lemonade.
My Notes
Honey is the best option compared to sugar here, i make it with both and do not taste a huge difference.

Do taste in between to adjust the lemon juice and/or sweetness.

At times i like to mix both lime and lemon juice, this makes it even more delicious!
